Ooh I did have to share this one.  Now I got the Dad memory thing with
the Moon Landing.  But one strong memory I will never forget is crying
along with Mom for about a day when Elvis died.  We were taking the
family dog home after grooming, (sorry to admit that it was a poodle),
:) when we got the news over the radio.  Mom literally pulled over to
the median and started crying.  We sent sympathy cards and got a thank
you card in return from his father.  But yeah now that is one strong
childhood memory.
