There's a lovely tearoom here in Stratford, CT called "the White Lilac". I can
heartily recommend the pastries to be got thereat.
and the "Chawalla House" in Lakeville CT ( right nerar the spot where
Massachusettes, New York and Connecticut all met up ) is also prone to serving a
decent pot of tea, even by continental standards, and makes their own crumpets
on site, too.
