I hadn't thought of that. But yes, if someone has some evidence of
horsemeat being used in sausages or other forcement in medieval Europe,
I'd love to see it.

This statement implies though that folks in Holland were NOT eating
horsemeat before they were forced to by unusual circumstances. Hardly
evidence that modern Europeans regularly ate horsemeat, much less that
medieval Europeans did.

An interesting story, though. And a cautionary tale on taking

advertisements at face value.
