[Sca-cooks] Period Fish/Food Question (Gasp!)

There is actually a 'sturgeon season', here on the Columbia River. 3-6',
certain time of year (I don't know the particulars tho). Damn ugly things.
One of my ex's brothers hooked into one once, while salmon fishing. He got
a big surprise and lost his favorite reel.

Whaddya expect from a living fossil?
