[Sca-cooks] Lots of pickles

I assume you are talking about 40 quarts (10 gallons!) of pickled
cucumbers.

Why so many? I could guess:
1) You really, really like pickles. Still that's a lot of pickles.
2) You've forgotten this is 2002 rather than 1999.
3) You have lots and lots of friends who like pickles.
4) Your cucumber plants were extremely active this year

So, why so many? And do you still have 39 and a half gallons left? :-)
