Henckels are wonderful knives...in fact, I gave the Japanese chef's knife to
my "sweetie" for Christmas...he was quite pleased!

Ordered last night and expecting to get them soon actually.  And yes
there are some better brands out there I guess but having used this
brand of knife once before I knew that I liked them.   And yep you
nailed it exactly and 8" Chef's Knife, a 6" Utility knife and a 4"
Paring knife.  Funniest thing is is that I only use one knife generally
so that will take getting used to. This was just to good of a deal.  And
I did make sure that they were the German Manufactured ones not the
Spanish manufactured. After searching for several hours I found out the
differences...
As far as the Honing Stone goes yep that and a sharpening steel will be
in the future.
