Yes, I believe your supposition that these folks were replying to
messages archived in the Florilegium is correct.

I specifically think the two files are:
marzipan-msg      (73K) 10/30/01    Use of marzipan (almond paste) in sotelties.
fish-skin-tan-msg  (4K) 11/25/01    Info on Icelandic fish skin tanning.

I have written the first message poster, to check on this, and also
cc'ed Olwen (who else?).

I suspect the other message was probably meant for Nanna.

Occasionally I get messages from folks wanting to join in to the
various conversations. I explain that the Florilegium is just an
archive and try to direct them to the paricular mail lists they
seem interested in.

Sorry for the interruptions, folks.  I don't know why there were
suddenly two different people doing this.
