I also think it would be interesting to try it for a reign without a King :)
I bet 90% of the population would never even notice :)
Of course we would have to have available serious mental therapy for those
who spend their time with ther nose hairs entangled with the Crowns Arse :)
There would be a serious shock for them not having anyone to suck up to :)
And lastly this concept is highly supported by those who are feastcrats,
imagine a feast starting on time, no need to wait for the Royals to finally
show up:) and a populace who gets to try period dishes hot instead of cold:)
Why this is the main reason many Scadians think period food was always
served cold :)
Then again theres the idea of hired armies or hired singles fighting for an
individule they wish to put on the throne, (there is plenty of historic
president too), why with that system we could have a Pelican or Laurel sit
on the throne:)
