It is not only cats, my children taught our rotweiller puppy to eat chillies
from the bsh, she in turn taught out other dogs, we had to fence of the
bushes so we could get any chillies for us

Our gray half siamese loved to eat weird
things... My mother got up one time after
working as a nurse on the night shift and
found half a pot of chili left on the stove
so she rewarmed it and ate it, thinking that
my brother had just been in and left it out
for her. It was only upon reflection later,
that she realized that one side of pot was
really nicely cleaned out, as in licked out
and the cat had been in the house....
He really loved his chili...
