And many modern/mundane folks know the name from the score of The Music
Man - in "Pick-a-little, Talk-a-little", the ladies of the town describe
Marion's inappropriate choices in literature to Professor Hill with three
choice names - "Chaucer! Rabelais! Balzac!"
