That _is_ an arresting image, and a funny one. But then people look
at me explaining why the knife needs to be so sharp for a good
chiffonade of sorrel, and think the same thing. I always think of
Alexei Sayle, skinheaded, blue-jowled, and
lower-middle-class-accented, prancing around, talking about running
up frilly curtains for the parlour and cutting the crusts off the
sardine sandwiches.
