[Sca-cooks] courance: was re: stuffed turips

I took them to be the ubiquitous currants or a shortening of raisyns of courance.
The amount of sweet (dates, sugar, currants in the sauce, apples and currants in the stuffing) things in this recipe may counteract the bitter taste to some extent.
Now I got to go buy some turnips and try this out.
I'll let you all know how it goes and post the redaction later.
