Yes, it is. Which means peanut oil, a lot of the generic "vegetable oils",
anything enhanced by soybean powder (which is lots of pre-packaged stuff).
 And (forgive me for being vague) peanuts are one of those things that
diffuse into the air, which means that even opening a package of peanuts
near him can be a problem.

It doesn't have to be, but it takes a certain amount of pre-planning for
the event cook.  It's not even particularly hard, but he'd rather eat off
board than put a cook to that much trouble.
