I don't know what the name of the squash is right off. I can tell you that
it is good. Not a real strong flavor. It is good in soup if added at the
last (it's kind of a semisoft squash, not as hard as butternut, not as soft
as zuccinni). I slice or cube it, dust with flour and spices and fry. You
can eat that one shredded in salad or vinegared too.
