Well, that makes more sense, anyway; the Pegge edition actually says
"yfafted", which I took to be the elongated "s", but in either case it is
still not easily translatable.  The footnote in Pegge simply repeats the
phrase rather than explaining it.
OK, so then you are taking half roasted lamb and stewed stuffed birds and
putting finishing the cooking with almond milk, I gather.  What would you
stuff the small birds with?
