Well, looking at what Adamantius posted, if the
Dreaded Victorian Scholarship happens to be accurate,
it might be a preportional adjective, indicating that
the proportion of thickness of the bread ought to be
as that of the thickness of a wheel, ie rather thin.

OTOH, this could be either a misprint, or an error in
transcription, since the one dictionary indicates that
this might be the only known instance of this word- is
there any way a good look at the manuscript might be
done?
