The word is trounde[3], not troundey. If you look at the version in
Harleian MS 4016 #80 Payn purdeuz, it says "kutte hit in leches", meaning
cut it in slices.

Austin glosses trounde[3] as a round slice, & says to "compare
<i>Trundle</i>, Halliwell."

So you're to take a round loaf & cut it horizontally to make round slices.

Johnna, do you know who was Halliwell, & what book was he referring to?
