Thanks. This substitution may make sense. I think I can probably find
chicken livers sold in seperate packages at my grocery. I've got no
idea where I would find pig liver. Perhaps at a specialized butcher?
Has anyone tasted both chicken and pig livers? How different do they
taste?

Well, yes. But I didn't feel it was necessary to argue whether it
was it was a real allergy or not. Since it is a small meal and this
meal is given for this lady, I can see making these changes. Afterall,
I don't think it deviates that much from period practice. However, if
the Queen were to ask that chocolate mousse be served to everyone as
part of the feast, I would have a decidely different reaction. :-)
