Milton or the American equivalent....The stuff you clean babies bottles
with..
make up 2 lots and you alternate them. That way everything has the minimum
time in the bath to clean it.
and it doesn't eat clothes.
When I am cooking authentically:- no modern cookers or fridges etc, The
first cauldron on is always the water for washing up and if it don't burn
fingers it ain't hot enough.
Chopping boards should be wooden as the inate anti-bacterialness of beech or
sycamore does half the job for you. Scientifically proven (see I do read
things other than cookery and period refrence books occasionally.)
