The June 2002 "Minature Collector" Magazine has a cute article entitled "Creating a Medieval Feast in Miniature" by Paula Gilhooley.  It has some clever suggestions for various foods in Sculpy(including a salad w/hb eggs) and nowhere suggests that medieval food was rotten. It even includes two sources for 'real' medieval recipes--Pleyn Delit and To the King's Taste. Good for us!

Same issue has a nice article on "The Fleece Inn" - plaster and beam British inn simulcra. A little OOP, but very nice for those of us who can't afford a full-sized house.
