I got a review copy of this book from 10 speed, and it is very cool!  The
author gives very clear directions about fire cooking--I've never seen
diretions for making ash cakes IN the ash before. Unfortunately, the books
won't be ready until Sept, so stop by my booth to take a gander at the sample
copy.

I called to ask whether there might not be just a FEW copies I could sell
right now, and the nice lady said author William Rubell would be on the East
Coast in Oct, and I said "Maybe he would like to come to Kingdom Crusade and
do a little demo!"  So I passed on the autocratic info to her, and we'll see
if anything comes of it.

Of course the lady at 10 Speed probably is blitzed by all the SCA info I gave
her, and no doubt thinks we are all LOONS...
