Actually it's white, but it'd be pink if you mix some of the strawberry
juice in with the "snow".

I'm not the original poster of the recipe, but there's a version of it

One side note on this recipe.  I made it for dessert on the 4th in an
un-airconditioned house and it didn't get as thick as it did in past
attempts (though it was still snarfed up by everyone, including the
picky-eater of the family).  Heat and humidity have a definite effect on
this one.
