    Sorry, I should have specified, *Summer* is made up of  recognizably
edible plants and grain.  *Spring*, another of Arcimbaldo's paintings, is
made up of flowers, while *Vertumnus* has flowers, 'spring onions' and
bulbs, which might or might not be garlic.
