Uh oh. I hope you get your air conditioner fixed before August.
Maybe you should plan on coming up to Pennsic after all. It will
be cooler.
One of the things I remember from my many trips to Phoenix, actually
Tempe a Phoenix suburb, was the heat. I remember walking out to
the car at the end of the day and having the asphalt stick to my
feet as walked.

I think Phoenix is a bit of an extreme to go to, to avoid the ice and

snow. :-)
