[Sca-cooks] Feast Ambience

We often use candles also, especially when outside. Some halls do not allow
open flames though. And I helped out at the Royal Feast a couple of years
ago at Estrella. Banquet tables set up with silver, a period trio in the
corner during the serving, munching and jugglers, sword swallowers and a
trapeze act after! The most magical feast I have attended; but not period
food, just very tasty; and a small group, 50 or less.

Over here in Lochac we always use Candles for lighting our event halls...
Gives it that "ambient glow" (and soft lighting is soooo forgiving on age
lines ;-p)

I understand that some US states have laws regulating against that? (or is
an insurance matter??)

Just a thought!
