Yes, getting the non-roasted kind is indeed hard out here. I hvae to have a family member send them to me. When I went to
alabama earlier this year, I bought up a bunch and put them in my suitcase. Boy the inspectors at the airport sure thought
THAT was weird! They thought I was 'nuts'!

They don't have to be GREEN peanuts, though. In fact, I like the mature, non-roasted kind. Bigger size.

Just put them in a crock pot covered with water, put in a whole PILE of salt, and let cook overnight/all day. Give them a
taste; they are too salty you can drain the water, put them into fresh water and finish cooking 'em.

You can use spices too, but I tend to just use them plain.

That's what fall wars are for :) Come on up to the Caerleon Scots Raid War/Ducal Jubiliee on labor day, get some
equestrian displays, a shinai battle in a renaissance town with buildings, some arts and a nice open air tavern, and I
will also make sure that there are peanuts there! I will make it my personal mission to fulfil the legume needs of the any
visiting delegates from the Luarel Kingdoms :)

Having known the Hunger unfulfilled......must provide boiled peanuts! :)
