Well, gee - why'd they go and hold it on the same weekend as my barony's
birthday? Phoeey.

   Is okay - we've got one of Stierbach's expatriates cooking for us - Lady
Mirriam. She's got a three course feast planned, "Crusade route"...
English/French dishes, Southern Med dishes, then Middle Eastern. Then
dessert, whatever that is going to be. I can't remember the menu, which for
the sake of enthusiastic diners will include "pseudo-period" Savory Toasted
Cheese as well as stuffed grape leaves. Mirriam is good at providing a blend
of well-researched period dishes along with a few SCA favorites.
   And bread. Yum. She makes *good* bread...
