Taking the boiled peanuts thing a bit farther....how about peanut soup?
It's an absolutely wonderful concoction made with a base of chicken stock
and has peanut butter (either plain or chunky, depending on the recipe), and
is often flavored with bacon.  Great stuff!!!!
