Gee, you would have thought the batch I brought to the Cook's Potluck last
year would have satisfied the curious, but I guess there's no accounting for
possible addictions!  For what it's worth, don't even try to sample the ones
you find in a can, they are beyond gross.  Fresh from a large, cast iron pot
being boiled along the side of the road anywhere in the south is preferable,
although the "Hot Nut Hut" on 78 between Birmingham and Memphis is shut down
(I REALLY wanted one of their huge kettles), there are plenty of other good
spots to get them.
