yes, but it's worth it. Think about it being the
great grand cookery book of the late Italian
Renaissance. Plus it has all those interesting
illustrations. I got one this spring; I love having
a copy. Those who know what it is will beat a path
to your shop and grab them quickly. See Anne Willan's
Great Cooks... if you don't know about Scappi.
