Dearest Kiriel, it was humor:) I have two bottles of Grange in the "cellar"
one a '64 and the other a '60 both of which are excellent if the '66 was any
indicator (now deceased and the bottle a candle holder). Though I do not
consider myself an expert I do love fine wines and have made it a point to
purchase now and then again a few bottles of what is considerd to be the
more "esoteric" vints since those far more expert than I have rated them as
excellent. By the way if you can get a '71 Hermitage for $400 grab it,
last time I saw them offered it was at something like $525 and that was well
over a year ago. The point I was making is that to somehow assign a massive
importance to a single grape within a blend of vinting is more of a sales
ploy that of a vinters art. It then is derived that any blend containing
that grape is going to somehow be superior in nature. As to the Shiraz wines
of today they vary widely from quite pleasent to something just a bit above
Mogan David. At least in my estimation for whatever that is worth.

YIS, Elric by the way TIC refers to Tongue in Cheek:)
