Subject: [Sca-cooks] (OT) Space Food Sticks
Okay, this is off-topic. Heck, I'm not sure they count as "food"......
Does anyone here remember Space Food Sticks? Those chocolateoid/peanut
butteroid/whateveroid sticks that just about any kid that was nuts for the
space programme was ga-ga for during the late 60's-early 70's?
Well, The Space Food Stick Preservation Society, (a redundant name if I
ever heard one), has a site up at http://www.spacefoodsticks.com/ But
wait, there's more. Turns out that SFS never went out of production in
Australia. They have imported a batch of these and are selling them,
either two boxes (12 sticks), for $10.95, or five boxes (30 sticks), for
$17.95.
Anyway, figured someone here might be interested.
