I regret you had problems with the MAT last year. There was indeed a
handicap transport & we operated from early morning to late evening. All
that was required to get a ride to any place accessible by golf cart, was to
get Security to call for a ride or to sign up at the Autocrat Point for a
pre-scheduled ride.
There were problems with dispatch & lost drivers, as there are with real
world Taxi's (I have been a mundane Taxi driver) , but we did accomplish a
lot of rides for a lot of people. I wound up taking Baroness Megan to see
the Bloomery in action one evening & to attend a feast way out near the
Tuchux new camp (She is an old friend so I remember those runs best). I
took people who worked at Troll & Lost & Found up to the back side of Mt.
Islan. I worked something like 5 of the 10 days at the War & would have
worked even more but other people kept taking shifts. So now this year I
hope you will be able to get around the War better. Just give us the chance
to help you.
Pax,
Olaf of Trollhiemsfjord
a MATS driver
