I've heard of this.

You are what you eat - remember this.

Quails - fine - they eat grain and the stuff you normally associate with
birds.

Seagulls - eat if desperate. Over here you see more around inland
rubbish
dumps than you do around the coast.  I think I heard it said that if you
were desperate then find their nest as the eggs are more palatable than
the
birds but only just.
