No, unless they have a California branch, or there is a second Brown Cow company, it is not local to California. It is based in Newfield, NY, just down the road from Ithaca, where I live. The Brown Cow name comes from the Jersey cows they have. I remember when it was packed in plain white thin plastic containers with a label slapped on. So take hope, non-Californians! It is available in other places. I have no idea how many, but I've seen it in Dallas.
