Unfortunately, it does. I think the first three or
four feasts I went to had the Deadly Chicken, which is
chicken roasted, half-raw, half burned, served
congealing in its own grease- a wonderful dish, and
certainly, as far as I was concerned, a dish unique to
the SCA ;-)

Can't blame you- I get very irritated at good food
badly prepared, although, with the exception of
certain scribal errors, such as bell peppers and
anise/black licorice flavors, I'll cheerfully eat most
anything that doesn't move fast enough ;-)

Well, if you make it to Pennsic, please stop by SPCA,
and we'll likely feed you. Best time to come see us is
