That's definitely a good idea, and I considered asking someone who was more experienced to work with me in the kitchen, but I have to admit I was too vain for that.  Over-ambitious, again; I was so determined to have this feast be entirely mine that I didn't want any of the very experienced local cooks to help me out in the kitchen.  I wanted to prove myself alone.  Like I said, call me young and foolish... :-)
