It is a pigdin - dutch, english and native, although lately indian has been
leaking in.

Boetie gaan border toe [pronounced bertie ga-an border tow] means Boetie
goes to the border. Has that funky germanid sentance structure, and dutch
with an english accent mixed with varoius local native dialect vowel shifts.
There is a website that you can hear afrikaans pronounced on, just 'google'
for the language and it is one of the top 10 that pop up.
