Actually, I have recently bought a book that I feel would greatly interest
Ras. It is a Kazakh cookbook that has, among other rather interesting
things, several pages of illustrations of "cuttings of horse's carcass",
including a photo of a skinned specimen of, erm, something that would
definitely not be out of place in this museum.

I, of course, was only buying the book for the lamb's head recipes it
contains ...
