[Sca-cooks] Hagen on cardamom/grains

Jane,
I walked into a spice and tea shop in Wiesbaden, Germany a week ago and
picked up a packet of Grains of Paradise right off their shelves. If you
have any shop that does "exotic" spices or even Ethiopian near you give them
a look in. You might be surprised at what's right in your back yard!

Thought so...

BTW, I may have a solution to the Grains/Cardamom problem, depending on how
fast first class post can deliver. If the pack of Grains of Paradise that's
now on its way to me gets to my front door before I leave for the course
tomorrow morning, I'll take both those and cardamom along, and ask her which
she wants us to use.
