  Hej!
I lucked out on cook books this weekend at Boredom War (in East
Kingdom). While the long list of Viking books the lady had were more than
my pocket could afford there was one cook book that I could afford- Dinning
With William Shakespeare. It was only $75! I had just enough to buy it &
pay the Toll road on the way home. Good thing I am on a diet I won't miss
  the lunches that I'll have to skip this week.<;^}
I also had another bit of serendipity at the event. There was a
Bailey's Irish Cream Pudding on the desert board. I am awaiting the emaile
with the recipe so I can make some. The Canton meeting is at my house on
the second of June & I would like to share it with my guest.
Thanks for the suggestions Johnna, I will try to get those books at
Pennsic. I saw a copy of "To the Queen's Taste" (it was $45 I think) that
was suggested to me last year, but passed it up to get the "Dinning with
William Shakespeare". I plan on making a visit to the shop the Lady who
brings the books to events the next time I can go down to Boston with some
  disposable cash.
Phlip, I would be interested in doing some smithing at Pennsic. I also
had some luck at recruiting some s-I mean cooks for the Metal Smith's
Symposium, at least one if not 2 of the 6 meals may be covered (I would like
to cook but teaching classes on Viking clay mold casting & Making Byzantine
& Queen's Chains & Autocratting the event will take up most of my energy).
So I am still looking for cooks, but I am not panicking as much now. I will
second your invitation to Stefan to come & teach, cook or just take classes.
I also recruited some one to teach granulation at the Symposium. I hope
this event is as much fun for everyone as I envision it will be- now where
can I find some more cooks.
  Pax,
  Olaf
