Try Wal-Mart. The jars of gallon size pickles once empty would work I think. Just a thought. Aurore

I haunt thrift stores for those screw top glass/plastic jars..
like my mayo jar.. it has a wide mouth...
my mom keeps both her sugar and flour in scew top gallon jars
that she has had for years..
and there are jars called 'cracker jars'... cannot buy them
anymore so you have to find them in thrift stores..but they are
  wonderful

: Thanks to everyone, by the way, who mentioned glass/plastic
  jars with screw
: lids. Miricle Whip comes in a squarish plastic jar , which
  would be perfect
: for blocks of cheese, and I believe that I'll get a few to gift
  to our
: baronial kitchen (and maybe a few friends).
