My final post on the sublect - Gunthar - I am reading this in digest so I
have no idea if the thread is banned or not.

Why the bloody h#ll are we so dadburned concerned about feeding the
population of a country that is not one of our protectorates when we have
homeless and unemployed people in our own country. Let them deal with their
overpopulaton and breeding problems, drop teh population down to where their
agricultural base can support them. Get them methane generation systems
using organic waste, pump water from deep wells to irrigate, and then
discuss support. Malthus was right.

We are NOT the protector of the world. Historically we go out of our way to
help countried and get throrughly dissed by them. QV Somalia. Go in, be
honest about it. Take over the country, make it a protectorate like Puerto
Rico and govern the blasted place. Warlord preventing food from being
disbursed - shot is behind and deal with the problem.

Do I advocate the banning of organizations like CCF [christian childrens
fund]? Yes. Keep our resources to us. If the Peace Corps wants to go in to
show them improven agriculture and sanitation - fine. Also mandate
population control If you don't have an 80% infant mortality rate, you do
not have to birth 8 kids, you need 2 - replacement quantity. There is
limited land on this planet and until we can go entirely hydroponic or move
to another planet to ease population growth we are stuck with a population
limit. Until we have a world government, we will have warlords and politics
interfering with food distribution.

margali
ready to be bounced from the list for political ranting now.
also, My great Aunt Bessie was one of the founders of CCF. Do with that
information what you will.

the quote starts here:
Siegfried, I very seldom do this to anyone, but I think you need to read
_Diet for A Small Planet_

I personally hate the book, and think it's pretty out of date in its
information. But if you really can't understand that some people do know
that the beef industry they support by eating beef is using up grain that
people in developing countries would cry for, you really know nothing.
