Since many recipes call for "a handful" of an ingredient, i decided to measure how much my hand could be full of. I have small hands. I tested uncooked rice, raisins, and whole almonds. My hand holds about 1/4 cup. Anyone else? I suspect this is a rather variable amount... Anahita
