[Sca-cooks] a feta (or other soft) cheese question

I recently recieved this message. I'm not entirely sure whether there is
a differance between soft and hard cheeses as to whether they are safe to
eat if you scrape off any mold, or not. The author gave me permission
to post this here in case some of you know.
