this organization, Slow Foods" seemed pretty sympathetic to the ideals of
the SCA cooking community... so i thought some people might be interested.

    recognizing food as a language that expresses cultural diversity
    preserving the myriad traditions of the table
    cultivating and reinvigorating a sense of community and place
