Waaaall... I think the average is about 3 to 1 in favor of the good feasts.
Once in awhile there's an outstanding one. And once in awhile... well,
ancient An Tirians may remember the 'rabbit turd' feast- with raisins in
_everything_. Oh god it was gross. And the occasional 'Irish' feast that
featured corned beef, cabbage, and boiled potatoes...

And Robert, you haven't seen a sideboard because, well, it isn't done in An
Tir. Dunno why. Closest I've seen is <mumbledy mumble> years ago at an
event up at Silver Falls (Crimson Sky Tourney, I think) in Terra Pomeria.
For breakfast and lunch there was a tavern (usual sausage and rolls stuff),
but it wasn't part of the event fee or the feast cost- it was seperate. I
had a wee tiny cooler with my breakfast and lunch so I didn't eat at the
tavern.

Last feast I went to (Samhain in Three Mountains) I had a blast. The food
was very good, there was a lot of it, and I had my student Larry sitting
across from me, and friends all around. Only way to dine, IMHO. ;-)
