[Sca-cooks] OT: cats are carnivores

Reminds me of my old cat... I eat very little meat, and her attitude to
my food was, for most of her 17 years, about the same as mine to hers.
"She seems to like it, she's thriving on it, I'm certainly not eating
it!" Though, on the rare occasions I had chicken, she did like it...

Then, I think she got Feline Alzheimer's... started doing a couple of
weird things, and decided she liked my food. She especially decided that
acorn squash as a delicacy! I gave her some to prove she was wrong, and
she snarfed it down...

So, the next time I had some, when she started crawling down my throat
after it, I gave her some. Put it on a plate, straight from the oven...

She

sniffed and jumped
back.
Approached again with caution, and
jumped.
She didn't
know
Anne ate food that was
HOT!!

I think she burned her tongue...
