Wow.  An idea just flashed in my head.  A lightweight, portable canopy could
be made from stiff hose tubing and some 3way joiners.  You can place the
feet in some portable holes, or in holes or clamps in the legs of your bed.
You could do it either rectangular or covered wagon style rounded with 3
simple but stiff lengthwise cross supports.  Just drape your fabric over and
secure in place with some lovely ties or a more masculan version could be
secured with chains or cloak type hardware.
