[Sca-cooks] Anybody made Welserins Spanish Pastries?

Bear made the Spanish Pastries for my German Feast last year.  He used a
sweet bread dough, plenty of butter, honey and almonds.  They were a big
hit!  I've made them a time or two at home in smaller quantities.  I
can't decide if I like a pastry dough with added egg, or a sweet bread
dough better.  Maybe I need to make both at the same time and get some
guine...friends over to try them.
